The primary purpose of this blog is to share my motorcyle trips and other items of interest regarding motorcycling.
This is Eli, my first grandson. He loves sitting on Pop's motorcycle. So does Jonah and Rain, my other two grandsons. One day, they will be able to ride along with Pop, when their legs are long enough to reach the pegs.

I bought my first motorcycle when I was 15 years old. That was 49 years ago. Although I have not had a motorcycle all of those 49 years, it has never been far from my mind. My addiction to motorcycling can only be understood by those who share the same passion. To others, it is just a frivolous, expensive hobby. I love the feeling of freedom that comes with riding; the closeness to nature that comes with riding in the open air; the feel and sound of a well designed and built machine going through its paces. I particularly enjoy riding with my two sons, Heath and Ryon, although we don't get a chance to get together as often as I would like. Since I am retired, I have a bit more time to ride than they do, so many of my trips are solo.
