Good Spring (almost) Ride

Left Cookeville around 10:30 this morning heading south down 136 almost to McMinnville. Crossing 70 and hitting hiway 30 toward Spencer. This route has a nice winding climb up Spence mountain. Stopping briefly in Spencer, we headed east on 30 again, taking 285 over to 101. The ride down into Dry Fork Gorge and back out is a nice one. Hiway 101 is a rather remote road finally arriving in Crossville. We took 70N out of Crossville and directly back into Cookeville. Got back into Ckv about 2:00 just in time for Heath to pick up the boys at school. It was a great ride, very little traffic, except for a gravel truck we had to follow for a few miles. It was an uneventful ride, but enjoyed to beauty of the hills.
