A Great Fall Ride

Great day for riding. Logged just over 300 miles today. Leaving Cookeville at about 9:00 am and traveling to Crossville via US70, I picked up Hiway 68 taking it all the way to Ducktown. Along the way passing through Spring City, Sweetwater, Tellico Plains and finally Ducktown. This is a great route, little traffic, great scenery, nice roads. At Ducktown I took US64 down to intersection of Hiway 30, going up through Reliance. I stayed on 30 all the way to Spencer. Except for a bit of road construction, this was also a great choice of roads; small towns, lots of twisty, curvy roads, although a bit more traffic than on 68. At Spencer I hopped on Hiway 111 to hightail it back home in time for dinner guests coming at 6:00. Had a great evening with friends. What a great day: a great ride in beautiful country, spectacular views and weather and topping it all of with a nice dinner and evening with the best of friends. Life is Good.
